He slides when he runs and gets easily blown up by small bats. Transformers:+Convoy+no+Nazo+(1986,+Famicom) In the 80s, Japan got a punishingly difficult Transformers game on the Famicom. They all could fly and shoot lasers out of their mouths. If the game didn't say Optimus on the bottom of the screen you could argue it was any of the Transformers. Transformers+(1985,+Commodore+64) Sure, it's hard to tell that's even Optimus Prime. To showcase the Autbots through the ages, IGN presents a look at the leader of the team, Optimus Prime, and his many forms. Or maybe every game with a car in it was really a Transformers game. But as it turns out, the 80s and 90s were not chock full of robots in disguise. With all the Transformers games that have come out in the last three years, we figured we could do a huge look back at the robots through the years.
